When your day starts like this.

I went to an in person yoga class today for the first time since before the pandemic started. I was alone in choosing to mask and distance—but the ventilation was good. I really enjoyed being there. In conversation after, a couple of people whom I have missed seeing quietly volunteered to me that they were fully vaccinated. I appreciated that.

This full moon, the yoga tradition would have one honor one’s teachers. They don’t have to be formal teachers and certainly do not need to be gurus.


I communicate with the Murtis when I am out on the garden and also with the plants and other living beings. The volunteer squash are outrageously happy at the moment. On the balcony, Crow has discovered the strawberries and the fig tree.
