Echinacea, Lavender, Curry Plant

I was puttering around the house, and all of a sudden, all the light in the house went pink. I stepped out on the second floor sleeping porch and saw the sky was on fire for a moment.

How is your sadhana? Are you shifting it to recognize how you can most optimally participate in this turbulent time?

These matches were a gift a few years ago. They caught my eye today. Behind it is kumkum from Chidambaram temple that a different friend sent me in the mail when she went.

A year ago I met Maitri, then being called Banana, in foster care. I spent both Saturday and Sunday morning in a meditation training with Cyndi Lee. I also attended Reggie Hubbard’s afternoon yoga practice today (celebrating Prince’s birthday).
Now, more than ever, is the time to engage and to perform the focused and consistent self-inquiry and self-nurture to support lifelong action.
