I felt strongly called to bear witness today, in addition to making additional targeted donations to support protesters and the movement for black lives.
I have been concerned about my ability to avoid possibly spreading Covid-19.
To say what I think, protect my sensitive skin from the blazing summer afternoon sun, and to give me a little extra space, I updated my umbrella.

I went outside in the middle of the day to get supplies from the hardware store for plumbing repairs. An expert friend was teaching me how while doing the needed repairs.
This is one of the things I saw.

Yesterday I did not post to respect the #blacklivesmatter protesters.
Today, in addition to my other regular giving, I chose to support National Bailout and Movement for Black Lives.
Before work I meditated. Throughout the day, I took short asana and exercise breaks.

Leftover kuku sabzi (with herbs and greens from the garden), just-picked radishes with black charcoal salt, homemade sourdough discard rye crackers made earlier in the week. And cool infusion of mint and lemon balm.
I have settled into an at home almost all the time routine that is pretty healthy and for that, I daily give supreme gratitude. I think working from home for the remainder of my career would probably suit me.


It’s interesting trying to read Iyengar’s Light on Yoga, translated into Spanish.
Oh. And Maitri is sleeping in a photogenic pose again.
