Morning Greeting
When I stepped out of the house extra early to head to a meeting at another Agency, I was greeted by this amazing being suspended on a nearly invisible thread between the house next door and my porch. I hope she spins a web and sets up housekeeping. There are plenty of bugs to eat.

Art Around Town
The changes in my neighborhood over the past several years take some getting used to; there are so many new businesses opening up where it was once abandoned and dangerous to walk. This fabulous mural was on my walk to 2nd and M Streets, NE to the new flagship-sized REI at the U-Line building to get new hiking boots. On my extended walk home to break in my new shoes, I bumped into neighbors outside the Atlas Theater.

I went outside in the middle of the day to get supplies from the hardware store for plumbing repairs. An expert friend was teaching me how while doing the needed repairs.
This is one of the things I saw.
