Sadhana

I was not witness to the most abject poverty in India (both because of where I went and because of how I was guided). These makeshift, but semi-permanent shelters seen from the window of the bus made me think of the Occupy movement. They are nothing like those of Occupy and much of what Occupy is trying to warn against forgetting to care. And, oh yeah, McPherson Square is still occupied, though more and more uneasily.
Once it was undeniable that I would be soaked from the knees down, I decided to revel in the symphony and smell of the much needed rain.

This is the first chakra imagery I have seen where the chakras from root to crown do not match the colors of the rainbow–red, the slowest, coolest light at the base, the vibrations of the color spectrum the highest at the crown. Was the choice of colors for the various chakras meant to say something in particular?
