Found Objects Around Town
I saw these tools on the sidewalk in the afternoon. They were still there in the evening when I was walking home from teaching at William Penn House.
I wondered how or why someone might abandon, forget, or lose such well-made tools.

State of the Garden (Front)
For a few precious days each year, the light in the house and underneath the Japanese maple in front of the house glows red.
Morning Greeting
When I stepped out of the house extra early to head to a meeting at another Agency, I was greeted by this amazing being suspended on a nearly invisible thread between the house next door and my porch. I hope she spins a web and sets up housekeeping. There are plenty of bugs to eat.
