I was truly grateful for this cloud when I was walking to Union Station on my way up to Willow Street early this evening to study with Christina Sell. She is here until Sunday. If you are in town, check out a portion of the weekend.

preparing a capable vessel
to remember, to recognize,

the shimmer, the
vibration, the very
pulse of being.
This morning I walked up to Cultivate the City with a neighbor. I am going to try more fruit this year–I found a spot for a passion fruit vine; I will put strawberry towers on the sleeping porch; I may put in a golden raspberry; the Concord grape is looking promising. Meanwhile, around the neighborhood, the cherry trees are in full blossom.
The rain did much to brighten things here, given the prolonged dryness this fall and winter. It is hard to believe the massive flooding potential just hardly more than a hundred miles north.

I walked in early to work this morning because I had a dentist appointment and wanted to speak with a colleague before rather than after. I’d planned to get in an hour of work and then take the metro to my appointment. There was a fire that caused a temporary closure, so I head out early and walked. The morning was pleasant, and I had a nice chat on the way with some union workers from metro.
