I am really enjoying the proliferation of “Little Free Libraries” in the neighborhood. I found Ann Petry’s “The Street” and then immediately put it back after reading it so that as many people as possible could read it. It is one of those books that makes an indelible imprint.
I went over to the Hirshhorn. It was madly crowded, with 30-45 minute lines for the mirror rooms. Since I was on my lunch break, I had to leave that for another time.
