After over a decade of using “rose garden yoga,” I have designed and had printed (on 100% recycled card stock of course) cards for my yoga offering.
By the way, the position of the fingers might look like a peace sign (and it is), but with the fingers pointed down, into the earth, the fingers are in bhu mudra–signifying both the earth element and the earth it/her/theyself.


I took this photo earlier in the evening before failed attempts simultaneously to photograph the cat on my lap and the impeachment proceedings on streaming video. I think of all those working so hard and so bravely. For some time, I sat paying attention and also meditating–my personal variation on a Quaker practice of having someone present sit and hold all in the light while the business of the meeting is being conducted.
And I also made an extra donation.

One moment in a long day.

I did not go to the women’s march. I was attending the first day of the second weekend of a two-weekend yoga teacher training for those recently post-trauma.
I did meet others on their way with a good reminder about power.
