Signs Around Town

It’s sweet to give and receive feedback. This week I’m focused on asking people to buy stamps (please do all of you who live in the United States). I commented on a number of posts about the threat to the postal service, suggesting people buy stamps, including a post by John Pavlovitz. Seeing this story helped buoy my resolve to keep speaking out. BTW, there are some very cool stamps available.

How are you going to engage?

A mat is, of course, completely unnecessary, though I like to use them. Maitri kept joining me on my mat. Now that no people can come over to practice, I decided Maitri could have her own mat.

Having called the contractor and put a tarp over the place water was coming in, now I can just practice acceptance that it might get worse before it gets repaired.

I do not do the poses as an end in themselves. I practice moving my body mindfully so that I can move as best serves my life. Among other things, I like to be sufficiently flexible and secure in my balance to maintain a vertical garden.

How brazenly ecstatic were this trio of cardinals in the garden let me know that the grapes were fully ripe. They are delicious, though the skins are thick and there are seeds. The squash skin appears to have been gnawed at by a squirrel, but I like butternut squash still green.
