Having been brought to yoga by the Beats and the Beatles and having discovered Be Here Now not long after it was published (Quaker youth camp in New York in the 1970s—of course we did), this was a bit of history.
Tomorrow I go back into the office. I am grateful for my slow reentry.
As if–like chanting–you are saying the names of the divine. For if there is anything such as divinity, it is the spark in each and every one.
Learning when something is trash, as opposed to something to reuse, repurpose, or recycle is a true and subtle exercise of discrimination.

Mostly I stayed inside baking, and I also went to a holiday party with delicious food and wonderful music-making. It was good to get some fresh air and exercise in between.
New rooftop terrace at the reopened today East Wing of the National Gallery. Love this chicken with this view. I went at lunchtime after a challenging work week and I remembered spontaneous delight.
