Wonder Here at Home
I have been pining for a great adventure that would crack open my heart and remind me of the exalted.
A look at the sky as I did errands in the middle of my work day reminded me that all we need to find that ecstatic sense of awe is to be open to it right where we are.
The sadhana is to stay filled with awe as we do our work and chores, no matter how prosaic or stressful. Easier said than done, but worth every bit of effort (tapas).
Signs Around Town
Would we need such a sign if we weren’t bombarded with messages to hurry up, to go faster, to do more quicker, etc? I wonder.

Back in Early December
I thought by this time, I might be feeling the cold and the dark, so I brought home a new orchid, which/who continues to bloom extravagantly.

India?
Do you notice what is written on those ubiquitous metal disks on our streets and sidewalks? Do you ever recognize them as access points to the network of drinking water, sewage, electricity, and gas flowing through our cities that so significantly shapes the way we live?
