Fall Session Theme–Inner Light
This morning, when I called weather, the meteorologist announced that sunrise is at 7am, sunset at 6:58pm. As the nights grow longer than the days, it is a wonderful time to become more introspective, to use the principles of alignment to focus mind and body so that we are drawn ever more sweetly to our inner light.
In my classes this Fall, I will be emphasizing how we can use the Anusara principles of alignment to help continuously refine and focus our attention on our own and unifying sense of spirit.
June William Penn House Classes Back on Location (Web Version of E-Notice)
Dear Friends,
My apologies for any potential confusion. William Penn House IS able to accommodate Tuesday night yoga classes in June and the conference people. Please disregard previous notice, or, in the immortal words of Gilda Radnor, “never mind.”
Hope to see many of you soon.
Peace and light,
Elizabeth
ps While you are on YouTube, check out some of the other great videos of Gilda Radnor. She was an extraordinary spirit.

And Then What?
Though many of the yoga texts would get rid of the ego, I think we’d be pretty incohesive without one. How about seeking to have the ego in healthy balance with all aspects of the self.

Self Healing
A few weeks ago, I began having symptoms of “trigger finger.” My reaction was to look up good exercises to counter it and then create a suitable exercise routine. I have done some of the exercises before, although it is the first time using them to address this particular condition of embodiment.
Of the suggested exercises, making a fist and then stretching the affected finger out by itself has been the most effective. This means that I am walking about the house sticking out the middle finger of my left hand.
While I am at it, I figured it couldn’t hurt if I imagined I was showing what I think of the patriarchy. Just saying.
