Still There Were
Whatever might
have happened
or didn’t happen,
whomever I might
have encountered
or didn’t encounter,
whatever might
have worked
or did not work,
whatever I might
have completed
or left unfinished,
whatever I might
have stirred up
or might have
begun to heal,
whatever might
have been, or was–
still there were
the blossoms,
still the moon.

Seeing the Beauty
Impending storm. Before my walk home from work. It was enjoyable, knowing I had my comfortable home at the other end, to race the storm home with a minute to spare.
It’s a Great Day
To walk around and marvel at the clouds. Even on the busiest of days, or ones when work or other commitments make it so that we do not have much time for sky-gazing, we still always have a few moments to marvel and delight.
Questions Around Town
I stopped to take a photo of the question. This delightful dog would not move and insisted on attention. He finally moved far enough off of it to have it legible after he insisted I rub his belly. I guess I could have gone without a photo, but it was nice getting the canine love. His human was patiently bemused.
