Just wanted to let you know that the last two newsletters I’ve sent have had significantly more returned mail than usual. If you have changed your email since you first subscribed and you wish to continue to receive occasional e-mailings about workshops and other happenings, please go to the website and re-subscribe.
I am also getting returns from a few regulars. Please check your spam settings (especially if you are an AOL or Gmail user) and make sure to add my e-mail to your address book. If you haven’t gotten the July newsletter I sent today and wish to receive it, please email me directly at rosegardenyoga@gmail.com, and I will forward it to you.
I remind myself that I would not have these minor tribulations without having the joys of technology. I think it is worth it.
We have a choice. We can emphasize what we don’t think enhances life (for example, an over-sized, gas-guzzling, suburban SUV with city plates) or we can focus on an exquisite reflection of beauty. That we see what optimally would better be changed or shifted to be more fully aligned with nature or that we speak of it does not mean that we are not seeing beauty or embracing the whole of life with love.
I wanted a plateful of cookies. To have that required sharing cookies with neighbors. I still have some left. If you’re a neighbor, let me know if you want some. In writing about cookies and sharing with neighbors, I think of my good fortune and make another donation to share with neighbors less fortunate, too.

Leftover kuku sabzi (with herbs and greens from the garden), just-picked radishes with black charcoal salt, homemade sourdough discard rye crackers made earlier in the week. And cool infusion of mint and lemon balm.
I have settled into an at home almost all the time routine that is pretty healthy and for that, I daily give supreme gratitude. I think working from home for the remainder of my career would probably suit me.
