Sidewalk Drawing

If I post a picture of a rainbow a few days after I took it, is it still worth looking at? Or does it need to be in the moment?

I’ve been told that the tantric yoga masters said everything is the emanating light of consciousness with a capital “C” (prakasha) and through certain esoteric practices we can come to know ourselves as reflecting back on (vimarsha) this exquisite light. Then we can experience the sublimity of oneness.
Intentional stillness makes reflections easier to witness. And so we sit. And we can reorient our whole view of the world and recognize the emanating light reflected in the play of patterns from our individual and relational embodied dances. And sometimes a trio of dogs and a pond just make a great opportunity for a photo essay.
I confess that I needed to turn over to find the answer. I do not feel any call to learn the Bible for my salvation, but given the influence of religions that claim to be informed/derived from this text in this democratic form of government, it seems to be something I need to know better to be an educated citizen.

Puree in a blender or food processor:
peeled cucumber (seeded if necessary; use peels to garnish drinks if peels aren’t bitter)
tomatoes of any mix of colors:
assorted garden herbs and greens (based on taste and availability);
a sweet pepper of any color or variety (and a jalapeno or other hot pepper to taste)
a little minced sweet onion, white of scallion and a hint of garlic if desired (even if you are a garlic junky be gentle with the garlic lest it overwhelm the subtlety of the other flavors)
avocado
chilled vegetable stock or water
a little fresh lime or lemon juice (the acid in the juice helps keep the avocado from discoloring when the soup is chilling; a splash of white wine would also serve)
Chill the soup for 1-2 hours; do not let sit longer; garnish with chopped herbs–chive flowers are nice
