On my way home from work I bumped into a family I know from the neighborhood, from yoga, and from one of the family ‘s on-line celebration of the Capitol Hill neighborhood through “the Hill is Home.” After we went our separate ways, I paused to notice how beautiful were the clouds.
When do you ever see pictures of the underside of a butterfly? Usually it’s the top view or from the side with the wings folded together. The underside, too, is sweet, especially because we can see the delicate legs clinging to the flower.
I had the good fortune to be able to study with Christina Sell last weekend at Willow Street. Christina writes here about the Willow Street community. Her gracious words reveal the light in her own teaching and personal expression. I look forward to studying with Christina again.

Where I travel, the landscape is often bustling or crowded or fine or grand–though much is spare like Judd’s. Some to love and some not so much. The relationships are perhaps both deep and complex at the level of mind and emotion. At the level of inner wisdom, illuminated by the light of consciousness (when I can maintain it with respect to those things external), though, it is exquisitely simple.
