Watching Water Go Down the Drain
I went for a walk with a neighbor–all the way remaining 6+feet apart and changing course to give others that we encountered at least that much space. It’s been a while since I’ve talked while I walked.
Then I washed with requisite attention and enthusiasm when I came back home.

Morning Light
As the days get shorter, I am waking in the dark, and the light rises while I do my morning practice.

Calm Abiding Mudra
Mudras are meant to invoke certain meanings, feelings, or intentions. The mudra of calm abiding, with the hands placed on the thighs, palms facing down, is a good one for these times.
The point is not to go away, but to be able to be present and able to act effectively, even as things are chaotic.
