Perfect exhortation to see on the way to a therapeutic yoga workshop. I didn’t go to the morning session. It started at 8:15. Instead I did my own morning practice and walked to Georgetown. It was good to be outside for a good long walk and even better to share the yoga.
Although I never specifically studied ashtanga yoga, my life and practice have been influenced by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois‘s yoga and his offerings to the west. I practiced a good flow this morning to honor his teachings and his life. Sri K. Pattabhi Jois died earlier this week at the age of 94.
Mixed message? Not really. If you don’t hesitate to sit regularly each day for meditation at home, it will be a lot easier to wait for a seat at a restaurant.
