Today I had the honor of leading an online practice for some of the staff at the Latin American Youth Center to give them some support for their incredible service.

It is hard to think of trash as lovely, though I am acquainted with a few who make extraordinary meals from dumpster diving (though they would be doing that from a better class of dumpster).
Is finding lovely a dumpster in the parking lot of mostly closed stores anything like the yogis who seek the divine in the cremation grounds? Am I up to the challenge? Are you?

Signs Around Town (and International Women’s Day)
In the window at Clothes Encounters–a woman-owned small business on Capitol Hill. I wasn’t feeling the need to bring anything new into my closet, but I went in to say how much I liked the sign. I enjoyed trying on a tourmaline necklace that looked like it came from India.
