This morning, before going out to the United States Supreme Court and the Capitol to express my support for safe, legal, and accessible Abortion, I came upon a box turtle while helping to remove invasive shrub honeysuckle at Kingman Island.
Honoring being a child of the earth this morning on my way to an afternoon volunteering at the Lantern Bookshop.
Today I joined others at Kingman Island to help with invasive plant removal. Licensed destruction can be very satisfying. It was a beautiful to be outside.
I walked round trip to Georgetown today. It was good to walk. It was good to be with the books. It was good to have a simple meal offered by a friend when I got home.
