Peace and Safety for All
I don’t think that invocations and prayers alone are sufficient, and I believe they can support the emotional wherewithal for right action for those who are doing both.

Today’s Sadhana
This morning before work, I joined a group of people at the International Trade Center who were speaking out against separating immigrant families at the border. It was already 80F when I left the house at 7:30. It added two miles to my morning walk to join in. I thought about how far these families have walked in desperate hope only to meet such cruelty. What was a little discomfort and arriving at the office a bit red in the face and damp?
The Weighty One in Company
Jupiter and Saturn glowing together so brightly that even the light pollution cannot obscure them. Jupiter is sometimes referred to as the guru planet, the weighty one. Take a look at the sky and use that to listen to your own inner guru, the space where you are fully grounded, engaged, and free in spirit all at the same time. For me, it’s still a work in progress.
