This afternoon I heard a neighbor on one side of my house out shoveling–including the sidewalk in front of my house. I went out to thank him and say hi. And I gave him an extra jug of eco-friendly snow melt for the steep front stairs of his house. 
My endearment–goddess Uma incarnated as feline–always carried within it the notion that an incarnation of a goddess is a temporary form. Still, I am grieving.
