Saturn, Jupiter, Crescent Moon, Satellite Dish

I took this photo earlier in the evening before failed attempts simultaneously to photograph the cat on my lap and the impeachment proceedings on streaming video. I think of all those working so hard and so bravely. For some time, I sat paying attention and also meditating–my personal variation on a Quaker practice of having someone present sit and hold all in the light while the business of the meeting is being conducted.
And I also made an extra donation.

I am looking forward to going out to the garden to forage for things to bring to work with my lunch. I know there will be at least four or five tomatoes, and I am expecting a small cucumber. The greens and fresh herbs are a given. Having exquisite fresh food and making sure I take at least 15 minutes to savor it always makes a hectic day a much better one.
