It was good to get outside for awhile, as wet as it was. The mild air promised spring.

Kitcheree
Perfect between work and Spanish class meal–brown rice and red lentil kitcheree made in the rice cooker. Garnished with chopped herbs from the garden–mint, coriander, fennel.
State of the Garden: Dinner
Mixed greens (white and ruby chard, mizuna, kale), green coriander, thai basil. Not shown because eaten while gardening: small handfull of greenbeans, two sugar snap pea pods, one cherry tomato, six blueberries.
