Found Exhortation
Ahh. “Free the mind.” Free it of ignorance and being stuck in old, tired patterns of thinking—societal, ancestral, and created from our own lived experience. Free the mind to imagine, create, deduce, consider alternatives and choices and cause and effect. Celebrate the mind to free it to enhance our being, individual and communal.

I was reading an article in the NY Times about what one can do to “green” a home that led me to this list. There is always something else to learn: unofficial list of energy saving tips.
FYI, PEPCO Energy Services does offer “green” and “wind” electricity. Not perfect, but better than regular PEPCO. I think there are some other alternatives in Maryland. I have not investigated recently in the District, but switched to the “green” electricity a number of years ago.
Holiday Cookies
I wanted a plateful of cookies. To have that required sharing cookies with neighbors. I still have some left. If you’re a neighbor, let me know if you want some. In writing about cookies and sharing with neighbors, I think of my good fortune and make another donation to share with neighbors less fortunate, too.
