Maitri Demonstrates the Practice of Ekagrata


I’m finding reentry more challenging than I first thought. I thought it might be helpful to remind myself of my travels–and that I travel to come home with more capacity to participate as much and best I can. The Garden of Endurance was at the Madhuban retreat center where I spent most of the trip.

Because the Senate, like any group sharing an office building, would need a little love if the fire department is wanted.
Come to think of it, the Senate needs a little love all the time; I like this heart being here to call in loving energy. Those who are working to care for those most challenged in our society, to protect the environment, and to seek fairness and justice for all need support to keep serving. And with an influx of love, perhaps those digging their heels in for greed, power, corruption, and violence, might be influenced to make a shift.

Jupiter and Saturn glowing together so brightly that even the light pollution cannot obscure them. Jupiter is sometimes referred to as the guru planet, the weighty one. Take a look at the sky and use that to listen to your own inner guru, the space where you are fully grounded, engaged, and free in spirit all at the same time. For me, it’s still a work in progress.

The unseasonably warm weather is worrisome. I can be anxious and be thinking of ways to adjust the garden to optimize the circumstances and simultaneously just enjoy the upsides—such as this morning’s outrageous sunrise.
