Lakshmi Sky (at the Jersey Shore)
“You like looking at clouds, don’t you?” asked one friend, as we took a walk along the shore after the workshop on Lakshmi this weekend. Another added, “did you always see so many heart-shaped clouds?”
“Yes,” I answered the first. “I always have.” To the second, I note that although I did not pick them out so frequently before, they are often there to be seen for those who are paying sweet attention.
A Beautiful Day
I gave the state of the world some of my efforts and attention, but mostly I enjoyed a free day. I took a pleasant flow/yin class at Be Here Now on 8th Street, walked down to the river and then extended my walk in a long loop through the neighborhood to admire the fall foliage. Nests have become visible as the trees lose their leaves.

Imagine if this exhortation (more like a plea) were applied not to a folk art representation of a gun, but real ones.
