This cookie fortune has been taped to the bulletin board in my office for a couple of decades. Sometimes I remember to notice it.
Perspective
It is easy enough, on reading the news and experiencing some of the challenges of living, to get anxious or depressed. It is also possible to think with gratitude of what is good in my own life.
Thank you to all my friends who share with me and help remind me of all that for which I am grateful.
Incidental Satsang
This morning I was reminded by a friend and yoga student to follow my own teachings. I really appreciated it. That it was said, and that I could hear it. When we practice together for a long time, we are all each other’s teachers and students.
Signs Around Town
I am reminded that the way is indeed open for how I respond to the news, regardless of the outcome of the election.
